katie kostecka (2014) 41 Katie is currently studying journalism and theatre at California Baptist University. She only recently returned from spending a semes- ter abroad in London where she interned at a book agency, took classes at the University of Westminster, and performed in two produc- tions. Back at CBU for her senior year, Katie is working as the Relationships & Trends editor of a campus publication called Pursuit Magazine. She is also currently playing Crystal in a school production of Li le Shop of Horrors, and she is buried in grad school applications and exam preparation. But she is blessed with a loving, supportive family, an awesome church, and a great group of friends, and she is excited to graduate and pursue a career as a high school English teacher! Katie's favorite Linfield memory centers around the opening night of Seven Brides for Seven Brothers, the spring musical at the end of her senior year. Her younger brother Connor, was a freshman, and he kept a years-long promise to perform in a show with her, allow- ing her to share her passion for theatre with him. Their cousins and grandpa also flew from Texas to see the performance. Katie remembers feeling so loved by that and says that it was "a great conclusion to the best high school experience anyone could ask for."
