2017 HOMECOMING COURT JaeCe simon Nathan underwood 25 I am a 17 year old senior, and this is my ninth year at Linfield. I am so blessed God has put me in this amazing place! I have had the opportunity to be involved in Student Ambos and Sports Medicine; I am ASB Vice-President and the start- ing second baseman for the Varsity Softball team, and I also lead worship in Chapel Band and often perform at Country Live and the Merc. In fact, I recently placed in a singing competition and will be going to Nashville in the spring. I realize that none of this would have been possible without Christ. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 16:9: "In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps." This reminds me that no ma er what happens in my life, God's plan will always prevail because He knows what is best in the end! My role models are my Mimi (my grandmother) and my mom because they both are amazing examples of how to be a strong Christian woman, and they have helped shape me into the person I am today. I am 17 years old, and this is my thirteenth year at Linfield. I am currently involved in baseball, ASB, Student Ambassadors, Interact and band (I play the saxophone). Outside of school I enjoy cheering on the Los Angeles Dodgers and the Dallas Cowboys. My favorite verse is 1 Corinthians 13:1, which says, "If I speak in tongues of man and of angels, but have no love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal." My role model is my father, Bret, who demonstrates day in and day out what a man of great faith and character looks like.
