Kristy Ness (2014) A lu m n i S p o t l i g h t 40 After graduating from Linfield, Kristy a ended Point Loma Nazarene University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. She currently works in a Cardiac Step Down ICU at Sharp Memorial Hospital in San Diego and recently began a doctoral program at Loma Linda University with the goal of becoming a family nurse practitioner. But Kristy doesn't just serve patients in San Diego; she also travels to Haiti multiple times a year on medical mission trips, serving and ministering to the needs of the people there. She says, "I'm so thankful for my experience at Linfield Christian School. I started a ending when I was in kindergarten, and the school instilled in me, even at a young age, the importance of serving others. At Linfield I developed a passion for caring for people, something that has led me to graduate with a nursing degree, to practice medicine on mission, and to pursue a doctoral education, all because I want to be be er prepared to serve the Lord here and around the world."
