REGIONAL HEAD MARILYN BOSS, Vice Chairman of the WAC Board of Governors, was recently named head of the Seattle office of Marsh, a global insurance brokerage and risk-management leader. Marilyn, a 25-year veteran of the firm, is responsible for ensuring that Marsh delivers superior advisory and transactional services to its Seattle clients. "Marilyn's proven ability to deliver value to Marsh's clients and her deep experience in the Northwest make her an excellent choice to lead our Seattle office," said Kris Davis, Marsh's west zone leader. Marilyn previously served as the Northwest PUBLISHED NOVELIST Writer KATE LLOYD has published her second novel, Leaving Lancaster. The book explores the power of forgiveness and the bonds of family. When protagonist Holly Fisher learns her grandmother and uncles—long thought dead—are really alive, she travels to the Amish countryside of her mother's youth. As she searches for a place of belonging for the first time, Holly struggles with feelings of betrayal. Can a mother and daughter's journey to a long- forgotten landscape and way of life heal their emotional wounds and finally bring them home? Kate Lloyd previously wrote A Portrait of Marguerite. She's scheduled to speak at a May 9 senior luncheon at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Everett and will join a panel discussion titled "Romance is in the Air" at the Northwest Writers Renewal in Redmond on May 18–19.
