SNAPSHOTS VIP Art Breakfast at Chihuly Garden and Glass WAC Link Quarterly July 19 The day began and ended with excitement. Members enjoyed breakfast at the Collections Café followed by a private docent-led tour of Chihuly Garden and Glass, all before public hours at Seattle Center's newest attraction. The outdoor garden—where hundreds of colorful glass reeds and tendrils sprout from the earth rather than flowers—was stunning, and interior exhibit rooms showcased Chihuly's progression and styles, leaving attendees amazed by the volume, variety and beauty of his creations. Later that evening, 50 WAC members mixed, mingled and networked in the President's Suite at WAC Link Quarterly. Lots of fun was had, and everyone was exposed to tantaliz- ing trivia about Seafair and the Blue Angels. Congrats to Megan Sherman on winning $100 in WACash for her best guess on how many people watch the Torchlight Parade. Indeed, it was an exciting day for WAC Members down at Seattle Center and here at the Club.
