{a la carte} By Danielle Crowson, Restaurant Operations Manager Remembering Pop Hagerty W As football season kicks off, take a moment with a legend next time you're on your way to watch a game or grab a drink. Beside the entryway, you'll see a bronze plaque commemorating the man for whom the bar was named. It reads: hen was the last time you stopped outside the entrance to Hagerty's? If it's been awhile, let me encourage you to pause for a minute the Hagerty's is named in honor of F.W. With football season shifting into high gear this month, there's no better time to come by and pay homage to Pop, who officiated several East-West Shrine games. Hagerty's will gear up for football season with fantasy football draft parties and will be hosting in-house tailgate parties throughout the season. We expect the crowds to be bigger and better than ever this year as the Huskies play at CenturyLink Field while on-campus stadium renovations are completed along Montlake Cut. WAC members can enjoy worry-free access to the games with our Dawg Day Passes that include WAC Garage parking, round-trip game transportation, and food and beverage discounts at … yep, Hagerty's. Few things can match the excitement of walking into Hagerty's on a big game day. The energy is palpable, and team colors fill the room. After the long passes and bone- chilling tackles, I hope you'll be able to look back and say, "We saw that game at Hagerty's." I like to think Pop would be proud.
