Toastmasters is a great tool for learning to communicate effectively in a range of situ- ations. As with most learned skills, speak- ing improves with practice. WAC Toastmasters meets weekly at 7 am and focuses on listening and speaking skills. This professional and supportive environ- ment will help you communicate better no matter your career. You'll benefit from Toastmasters' proven methods of organiz- ing thoughts, articulating ideas, making powerful statements, and writing synopses. Come and experience a WAC Toastmasters meeting by attending the first meeting of the fall/winter term on September 11.
