MARKETING WATCH Forward thinking, staying on top of industry trends BY JAMIE LEO Marketing and Creative Service Manager With the addition of Stan Allen coming on board as our President, we have also expanded our marketing department to improve communications to our customers. With that said, let me first introduce myself. Creative marketing and communications is a huge passion of mine. It is constantly moving and changing and keeps me on my toes. Throughout my career, I have stayed on top of these changes, taking courses in digital marketing, web design and brand management. I have been with Northeastern for a year now and I am so excited to share some of the things we have going on right now. Maybe you noticed that we made a slight change to our logo — removing hardware and adding PVF. Although we still supply hardware, we wanted to put more emphasis on our Pipe, Valves and Fittings to better communicate to our customers that we carry over 10,000 stocked items in this category. We are also instituting a more consistent brand message throughout our organization, so that we build recognition and trust with you, our customers. With the addition of Brian Parker, our Director of E-Commerce, we are going full-speed ahead with developing a new website, e-commerce platform and mobile app, providing you with more ways to get the things you need for your business. We will keep you updated as we get closer to our launch date. We have also welcomed Kayla Tarte to NE's Marketing team. Kayla is our HVAC Marketing and Programs Manager. On the HVAC side, we have enabled texting as a form of communication. Need warranty information, pricing or product availability? Place your next order by TEXT.
