CREDIT CORNER Credit is not a bad word . . . credit is help By Jen Tarr - Credit Manager NE values its customers and values its credit relationship with customers. Striving to make it easier for customers to utilize credit options, NE has developed helpful new credit software. While each lending situation is unique, we evaluate the credit worthiness of our customers by reviewing several avenues including: personal credit, business credit history and cash flow, trade references and economic conditions. We look at every possibility to find creative ways to extend credit. How can customers help themselves? Managing your credit obligations and pro-active communication are both key to a good credit relationship. If you know you will be running late on payment or if there are any issues with invoicing, let the Credit Department know as soon as possible to avoid delays in future orders or credit extension. To better facilitate credit and payment options, job sheets are vital. Having a job sheet is helpful prior to placing a job-specific order(s) as it allows us to extend credit beyond what we may have in the past, and it allows tracking by jobs for reporting. Now, to better serve our credit customers we have partnered with Billtrust, the pioneer of payment cycle management solutions which take the pain out of payments.
