Rob the shark: Love that ques on, Dave! You know, we always have to prove who's at fault for an accident. We have to show that somebody was negligent. What caused that road condi on to be dangerous? Was it the rain from the night before? Was it the county workers that forgot to cover a hazard? That's our job! In the mean me, the bike's incurring costs the whole me it is at the tow yard. Now you're somewhere around $800 to $900 in one week (maybe more, maybe a bit less) in storage fees and you have to come up with that money to get it out.
