12 | WheelsOfGrace.com | #68 BIKERS FOR CHRIST BIKERS FOR CHRIST Arizona Bike Week 2023 was an incredible event this year. We had approximately 60 BFC members in attendance from AZ, CA, NV, KS, MO, IL, and Mexico. It was a time of some incredible ministry opportunities. We had a BFC booth at the World's Largest Harley-Davison shop that encompasses over 150,000 square feet on 3 levels. There were tens of thousands of bikers in attendance. The numbers probable went over 50,000 peopleā€¦ and hundreds of custom bikes of every style, and dozens of different brands. Each day from Wednesday to Sunday, we had members at the booth at Scottsdale Harley- Davidson. So, we had a place to sit together and still be involved in the action of the Rally doing Bike Blessings and praying for others. It was a beautiful sight. And we experienced lots of "divine appointments". People in our world are hurting, and many welcomed our prayers. We are both blessed and honored to pray for others. We hear a lot of interesting stories, and we lift up the needs of their families and friends. The Lord really uses our members at the Bike Blessing booths to offer hope, comfort, and share testimonies of God's power, His grace, and goodness to transform the lives of His followers. Sometimes our members are crying with the people that they're praying for. God can sure show powerfully as we care for our neighbors. Every person whose bike we blessed received a "God Blessed My Bike" chrome sticker. Many put them on their windshields, gas tanks, and helmets right then and there. We passed out hundreds of Cross Pennies. We also passed out literally thousands of Gospel Tracts and Flyers. The BFC crew also took some amazing scenic day rides together. We saw some cool mountains, canyons, and many different types of cactuses. Our daily ride destinations were awesome. The rides included Cave Creek Bike Week (a really cool little ghost town) that sure pumps it up with hundreds of vendors, bars, and restaurants. They also had multiple Bike shows and lots of eye candy for different types of motorcyclists. And they had bands in different locations throughout the rustic city. We also took a ride to the Goldfield Ghost/Mining town from the 1800's. It was really awesome. There had some amazing buildings and architecture. They also had a very cool western shoot-out in the streets. It was pretty cool with lots of gunpowder in the air. It felt like we stepped back in time. It was a great day trip and ride for the members.
