We don't believe it's the singular magic bullet, the compound that's best extracted and isolated from the rest of the hemp plant. Nor do we believe that your primary concern should be the number of milligrams of CBD you take. That's because we don't believe that more CBD makes a better extract. Instead, we believe that starting "slow and low" with fewer milligrams of CBD is the best approach. Why? Because every individual is unique with different needs and different responses. So, it stands to reason that each individual may benefit from a different amount of CBD to best support their body and nourish their endocannabinoid system. The Whole is Greater Than the Nature's Formula is Always Best Nutritional science has shown that the benefits of taking isolated ingredients pale in comparison to the benefits of eating a whole food. The same is true with hemp. In a 2015 study at the Hadassah School of Medicine at the University of Jerusalem, Israel, it was found that many of those taking CBD isolate experienced a bell-shaped curve dose-response. 1 This means that for some of the people who took an isolated form of CBD, it started working well, but then abruptly stopped. But when researchers contrasted that response with those taking CBD from hemp in its more natural state (with other naturally occurring cannabinoids and plant nutrients) not only did it work for more people, but the subjects were able to largely avoid the bell-shaped curve dose-response. Most CBD extracts on the Sum of it's Parts market are highly processed, which can result in a significant loss of other important cannabinoids, terpenes, cannaflavins and other beneficial compounds found in hemp - many which contribute the entourage effect. We use a slow, low heat version of CO 2 extraction that results in the same anount of CBD as other extraction methods, but maintains other beneficial nutrients in the hemp plant. Closer to Nature At HempFusion we have a more robust and complete botanical fingerprint- even compared to "full spectrum" products. We harness the power of premium, DNA-verified heirloom hemp featuring CBD plus an array of cannabinoids in the ratio found in nature. Then we take it a step further by preserving the terpenes and other plant nutrients to enhance the entourage effect and bring you what we consider a hemp extract "superfood" - one that's rich in diverse and synergistic nutrients, just as nature intended. More CBD Doesn't Make a Better Extract We take a "whole food" perspective when it comes to CBD because we believe the synergy of nutrients found in nature is the key to unlocking the full potential of hemp. The whole is always greater than the sum of its parts and CBD Isolates have even less of other beneficial compounds from the hemp plant. ultimately, the more diverse a hemp extract is, the more it has to offer. This interaction of beneficial plant compounds is called "the entourage effect." For example, if you wanted to support your immune system and keep your body healthy, you might eat an orange. But we know there's far more value in the whole orange than just ascorbic acid (vitamin C) alone - things like fiber, flavonoids, potassium, antioxidants and more. That's why you get so much more out of eating an orange than taking a vitamin C pill. Most Hemp CBD ■ Other Cannabinoids ■ Cannaflavins Terpenes ■ Other HempFusion. Hemp Exp. 02/28/2023
