Abby's Magazine - Volume 5 Issue 4| Page 9 Hi Tammy, At 19, your son is likely producing very large amounts of testosterone. High testosterone levels irritate facial hair follicles. His testosterone will level out and rebalance as he gets older. Meanwhile, it is important for him to cleanse his face every morning and at bedtime. "Desert Essence" makes a tea tree cleansing wash that is very effective. After cleansing, have him rinse and pat dry his face and then apply a small amount of "Herbal Aloe Force Skin Gel" to protect his pores from infection. The tea tree wash is drying and the aloe skin gel will moisturize and act as a bacterial barrier. The aloe gel should be completely absorbed, so use it sparingly. This works! I have high blood pressure and take medication. I'm interested in purchasing an appetite suppressant that doesn't hurt my stomach. Any suggestions? Airin Hi Airin, Medications often disturb the protective barrier of the stomach wall. I suggest you take "Digestron" by Dr. Chi to repair your stomach lining as well as increase your digestive enzyme production to improve your food absorption. Rather than an appetite suppressant, I encourage you to stabilize your blood sugar by balancing your meals and snacks. Include protein, healthy fat and fiber (chia or hemp seeds). You will feel full when doing this and your appetite will rapidly reduce! I am looking for some herbs to help with fertility and healing of scarred womb and tubes. I was advised to use red clover, green tea, chasteberry and wild yam root. I wanted to know if you carried these. Also would it be more efficient to take these in pill form or tea? Thanks. Ana Yes, Ana we sell these herbs available as capsules or in bulk to make tea. Red clover flowers have been used traditionally as a blood purifier, but should not be used during pregnancy or nursing due to its estrogenic activity. Chasteberry (also known as Vitex) has helped some of my clients with PMS. Wild yam root contains a steroidal compound that, in some individuals, many convert to diosgenes which may act on estrogen receptors. In my opinion, a much better choice for fertility is to work on balancing all your estrogens with the help of "Myomin" by Dr. Chi. In addition to enhance fertility "Chi-F" by Dr. Chi has worked well for my clients. Once pregnant, the Myomin and Chi-F are no longer needed or used. Scar tissue is composed of the same protein (collagen) as the tissue it replaces but the fiber composition is different. Taking a proteolytic enzyme (such as bromelain) on an empty stomach in the morning and at night will reduce scar tissue over time. Need relief from Digestive Disorders? Back Pain? Migraines?
