It's much easier to raise support for a traditional overseas mission, but we have been called by God to reach out to a sub-culture of people who risk their lives every day on a motorcycle. As your BSHDFC leaders continue to remain in contact with Hotel Elegant in Colorado Springs, we continue to anticipate ILS2021 next summer. Our staff knows that your family needs to make reservations and preparations so pray for us. The questions that challenge us include: "What if we make our plans and reservations and the n Colorado shuts down?" and "What if the hotel can't release us (again) from a contract committing us to 100 rooms and two large banquet halls?" We prayerfully anticipate having DEFINITAVE dates and details for our friends and members by January. Thank-you Black Sheep for your prayers and patience! b l Do you believe in prayer? We believe in prayer! Every Tuesday morning a team of 8-12 Black Sheep and friends gathers to pray over 3-4 sheets of prayer requests sent in by you. We are seeing answers to our prayers! We pray for the sick, the unemployed, those who do not know Jesus or those seeking wisdom and answers. The Bible says, "We have not because we ask not!" Therefore, we have two challenges for you: (1) Send your prayer request to: Vicki@BlackSheepHDFC.org or call (951) 677-1407 (2) Consider starting such a prayer group in your chapter. If not once a week, perhaps once a month. Prayer makes the difference! b l Are You Ready For Adoption? Black Sheep HDFC has approximately 75 "area contacts" (members without a chapter). While some of these members are two or three (not yet enough to qualify as a chapter) others are completely alone, one person doing their best to carry out the mission of Black Sheep. I am challenging our chapters to adopt one or two AC's which they could encourage monthly with a phone call, a card from the chapter, a Starbuck gift-card.... whatever you think would be an encouragement to them.
