SHEEP SHORTS It's A Family Thing Elisabeth Panato continues to master the art of riding a Harley with a sidecar. It's not as easy as one may think! Fabrice and Elisabeth have three wonderful young boys. With Fabrice's touring bike and Elisabeth's side car, the family of five can safely tour the countryside of France and represent BSHDFC. b Snatched From The Fire (Riverside, CA) Black Sheep Chuck Coulter and wife Lorena along with fellow Riverside member Larry Hancock were miraculously spared from disaster when the Coulter's toy- hauler suddenly burst into flames while rolling down the road. They pulled to the side of the road and attempted to put out the fire, but when the flames threatened their truck as well, they quickly detached their rig and moved it a ways down the road. The brand new fifth-wheeler and two Harleys were a total loss but (Thank God!) their lives were spared! Chuck writes: "We were scared and we were grateful…I could not get the back of the trailer open to get the bikes out, but was able to detach the truck with about 60 seconds to spare before the gas tanks blew followed by a spray of bullets that were inside.b With or Without 4 Corners There's at least one more multi-state Black Sheep opportunity this year and that would be the Four Corners Run in DURANGO, CO, Labor Day weekend. If the run itself is cancelled due to COVID-19 the Black Sheep will be meeting at the designated camp just the same! b Face Book Live In the coming weeks there will be a greater variety of guests leading our weekly Face Book Live program: Every Wednesday night, 5pm PST. The program includes various testimonies, stories from the road, scripture messages, encouragement and instruction for effective motorcycle ministry, etc. During the month of August we heard from the "Cookieman" (Desert Edge BS), Jim Love (South Central BS Regional Director), Jim Carlson (Great Northern RD), Oswaldo Otera (President of BS Miami) and Age Sandoval (Founder of Denver BSHDFC and current president of San Diego South.. If you have the desire and ability to talk about something meaningful and interesting for 20-30 minutes, something that would encourage the Black Sheep and our friends, let us know.
