Black Sheep Mexico Grows Chiapas, Mexico Black Sheep is so proud of their brothers and sisters in Mexico who are developing an enthusiastic ministry! The chapter is in the most southern state of Chiapas, bordering the country of Guatemala. Our members support the brand new Harley - Davidson dealership in the city of Tuxtla Gutiérrez , the capitol of Chiapas. Chiapa s is such a beautiful place; mountainous highlands and dense rainforest which are dotted with Mayan archaeological sites and Spanish colonial towns such as San Cristóbal de las Casas. San Cristobal is where our newest member lives with her family. Tw en ty - six year old Annilú Hernández Marín was just a young teenager when she visited Black Sheep's ILS2010 in Lake Elsinore, CA along with her brother Alvaro and parents Alvaro and Annilu, who were our first members in Mexico. The local president of BSHDFC, Tuxtla Gutiérrez is Emilio Luna Gutierrez. With the help of our director of Hispanic Ministry, Laz Alba, Emilio has provid ed an introduction for us, in English and Spanish. Please keep this growing segment of our ministry in your daily prayers! ENGLISH Hello, I am Annilú Hernández Marín ! Ten years ago I learned about Black Sheep's ministry through an International Leadership Summit (ILS) in California, in which my parents received their patches and I was captivated by the brotherly love of those people who, without knowing us, treated us like brothers and sisters. That testimony of love was my motivation to ask God to allow me to be part of that flock; I made all kinds of promises that a sixteen year old can make, and with the mercy of God, today I completed my Black Sheep mentorship program t o keep them ! I trust God that will guide me in life and on the road according to His will. Today , I thank God because he allowed me to buy the motorcycle with which I was able to join Black Sheep. I named my motorcycle " Eben - Ezer " because it reminds me that, with this gift from God, I can ride for Him ! From now on I ask God to help me be a blessing to others as they were for me ten years ago. Photo: This building is Annilu's family home. SPANISH Hola, soy Annilú Hernández Marín: Hace 10 años conocí el ministerio de Black Sheep a través de un Congreso Internacional de Liderazgo (ILS) en California, en el que mis padres recibieron sus parches y yo quedé cautiva por el amor fraternal de aquellas personas que, sin conocernos nos trataron como hermanos. Ese testimonio de amor fue mi motivación para pedirle a Dios que me permitiera ser parte de ese rebaño; hice tod o el tipo de promesas que una persona de 16 años puede hacer, y con misericordia de Dios, hoy terminé mi mentoría para cumplirlas. Confío en los tiempos de Dios y en que Él me guiará en la vida y en las rutas con forme a su voluntad. Hoy le doy gracias po rque me permitió comprar la moto con la que puedo integrarme al ministerio de Black Sheep Harley Davidsons For Christ, a la que he llamado Eben - Ezer porque me recuerda que, con este regalo de Dios, puedo rodar para Él.
