F or contractors whose customers want the ultimate comfort experience , NE carries the AccuComfort ™ Platinum 19 Low-Profi le Variable-Speed Heat Pump and the Silver 16 Low-Profi le Heat Pump. These new low-profi le, side-discharge units are designed to meet the di cult-to-install applications or tight space requirements that make standard vertical discharge units near impossible to install. The Silver 16 o ers a single stage Duration Scroll Compressor with Industry leading e ciency and performance up to 17 SEER, 14 EER and 10 HSPF. They are available in 1.5- to 5-ton models. The Platinum 19 was designed for Ultra Quiet operation to meet the very low sound requirements that some cities have in place for mechanical HVAC systems. With minimum/maximum sound pressure ratings of 43-57 db(a) the Platinum 19 is the quietest and most e cient ducted Heat Pump system American Standard has ever produced. AccuComfort Technology provides 300-700 stages of cooling and heating (varies on tonnage), with e ciencies up to 19.5 SEER, 13 EER and 11.5 HSPF. For Sea Coast applications, models can be ordered with an epoxy coil. All models come with 10-year registered warranties.
