Some of those little kids you might remember
are becoming young adults
Our children are getting older; they are becoming young
adults. We're learning more and more every year how
to successfully transition our older children into young
adulthood. It's essential for us to do that well.
This is not a step that many children's homes do well or
even do at all. But this transition is critical to the success
of our children, so it's something that we're committed to
perfecting.
Today, ten of our older children have moved off of our
children's home campus and into two host homes. One for
the boys, one for the girls.
TRANSITION HOME
These host homes act as transitional residences for young
adults, supporting them as they finish their education
and acquire the essential life skills needed to move from
childhood to adulthood.
We're excited to see who they become as they are
expressing interest in careers such as nurses, electricians,
economists, pastors and more.
We are grateful for the opportunity for them to grow
academically and challenge themselves to acquire new
skills that will benefit them in their ongoing development.
