Each day I grew weaker, and I feared I would die and leave my children in a bad situation. When I came to the clinic, I was welcomed with kindness and treated with respect. The nurses and doctors cared for me, gave me money for medicine, and explained how to take care of my health. The clinic helped me with my health and also the assurance that I can bring my children here for help." ~ 27 year old woman from Jacmel " Patients served by our clinic in 2024 8,024 Lab tests performed for our patients in our lab in 2024 3,450 Dental patients served by our clinic in 2024 899 Received prayer in addition to health care in our clinic in 2024 4,091 Our medical clinic continues to be a flourishing aspect of our ministry. The reputation of our physicians for their expertise and compassionate care continues to expand. While most of our patients hail from Jacmel, we have also been serving individuals from various areas across southern Haiti. We are deeply thankful to God for the opportunity to care for new patients and impact their lives through medicine. However, we see health care as more than just a medical experience; it is also a ministry. Our commitment is to care for the whole person—physically, mentally, and spiritually, and every individual receives personal counseling and prayer in addition to seeing a doctor. We have an outstanding staff of 4 Haitian physicians, 3 nurses, a dentist, 2 lab technicians, a psychiatrist, an administrator, a chaplain, and support staff. Our clinic is equipped with four treatment rooms, a pharmacy, and a modern laboratory. In 2024, we were able to see 8,024 patients. And for those patients, we performed lab work for 3,450 of them. We were also able to see 899 dental patients. These are not just numbers, they are lives. Lives that were touched. Lives that were healed. Lives that were saved in the community. These numbers are incredible to us. We are constantly amazed by the work that is happening in the clinic. But these numbers don't include the medical work that's happening outside the clinic. Every Thursday, a doctor and a nurse go out into the community to visit immoble and elderly patients that cannot leave their homes to get to the clinic. This work is another critical ministry of the clinic, as we go out into the community to provide care to those that would otherwise receive no care at all.
