Daytona Bike Week 2023 Abner (Yoda) Octtaviani Jesus said in Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am with them." We can say a great big "AMEN!" to that! Jesus was definitely in the house at Daytona Bike Week 2023! Nineteen Black Sheep and a handful of supporters made their way to Daytona to gather together and minister to all who would listen to us share about the goodness of God! What started out as just an idea to gather a few of our members together to enjoy a couple of days of riding and ministry rapidly evolved into what seems to have been Black Sheep's first Southeast Regional Rally! It was an awesome time together! We had members riding in from as far away as Dallas, Texas, South Carolina, Virginia Beach, and even Buffalo, New York. Our International President, Laz Alba also flew in from California so we had to make sure we had enough Cuban coffee on tap! What a blessing it was to have all these brothers and sisters come to Daytona to minister and love on our local biker community. The goodness of God was evident as we were able to visit various dealerships and meet with locals and out-of- towners alike to share the love of Jesus with them and of course ride, ride, and ride! Nevertheless, we made it to a service on Sunday morning at the First Baptist Church of Daytona. The Southern Florida BSHDFC members from Miami and Ft Myers did their best to make sure everyone felt welcome in town and are already looking forward to the next opportunity to host our brothers and sisters from around the nation. God has been opening doors and providing great opportunities for our beloved ministry to support major rallies and events such as the Four Corners Rally in Colorado and Laconia Bike Week in New Hampshire. We have so much to learn from our brothers and sisters who have been involved in these kind of events for years and we praise God for the fact that we can tap into their knowledge and experience to continue to glorify the name of our Lord Jesus and testify to our fellow bikers of Christ's love. We encourage our BSHDFC brothers and sisters to continue to pray for heavenly guidance and the opening of doors for the Florida sheep, that we may find more events and opportunities to attend, serve, witness, and share the glory of God!
