6 | WheelsOfGrace.com | #58 Biker Biker Church Church In 2007 I was invited to ride my motorcycle to a church that had a Sunday School class of bikers. I accepted the invitation that very Sunday. A couple of years later my wife and I became members of that Church. Lakes Church formerly First Baptist Church at the Mall in Lakeland, FL. That's my Church. My class is a chapter of the F.A.I.T.H. Riders Motorcycle Ministry. We are passionate about sharing Christ with the world. By using the motorcycle as a ministry tool, we share His Good News everywhere we go with anyone we can at any given time. We are close to having 400 chapters commissioned nationwide with 2 chapters in Cuba. Our F.A.I.T.H. Riders Motorcycle Ministry was founded in 2002 by Buddy and Michele Newsome. March 5th and 6th of next year, during Daytona Bike Week, we will be celebrating our Ministry's 20th Anniversary. "The Ride Continues" with our celebration kicking off at First Baptist Church Daytona, Saturday night. On Sunday morning our Sunday School class is at Lakes Church in Lakeland at 9:15am. Services in our main Worship Center are at 9:15am and 10:45am. Following our class, we will be having a F.A.I.T.H. Riders Homecoming. F. A. I. T. H. RIDERS No One Left Behind Free hot dogs will be served from 10am to 1pm. All bikers, motorcycle ministries and secular groups are invited to join us. The teachings of our Senior Pastor Aaron Burgner and our Sunday School teacher Pastor Dave McClamma are truly inspired. As a Messianic Believer attending Lakes Church, I've learned more about the Old Testament than I ever knew when I was attending Synagogue in my youth. Receiving the gift of grace through repentance and forgiveness and believing in Jesus as the true Messiah changed my life. Lakes Church and the F.A.I.T.H. Riders Motorcycle Ministry have provided local and global ministry opportunities for me over the years. As a result, I have grown and matured in my faith.
