The Gathering in 2022 ...is the new name for what we have called NLS and then ILS (national and then international leadership summit) for years. Since both events have never required attendees to be in leadership, or even members for that matter, the new name just made sense to us. Members and interested friends of BSHDFC come for fellowship, encouragement and training for motorcycle ministry. You can now make your room reservations at the Hotel Elegante in Dallas, TX and can soon go online at www.BlackSheepHDFC.org to register for the event. This will be a once in a lifetime event for the Black Sheep. Don't miss it! David Mann Chopper Fest CANCELLED We are sorry to announce that the December 12 th , David Mann Chopper festival in Ventura California has been cancelled due to COVID. Our own Ventura Black Sheep, were eager and ready to rock this event! BSHDFC Board Retreat It's tough for a corporate board of seven from multiple states and time zones to plan and lead an international meeting once a month for an hour on ZOOM. Sometimes, you just have to come together and look one another in the eye! For the last several years our board members have come together for a weekend to pray, plan and discuss the future of BSHDFC. Pray for your board as they meet in San Diego on January 14- 16. Advertise Your Regional Events It's impossible to include all of our monthly breakfasts and events, but if your BSHDFC chapter has a major regional event, let us know right away so that we might include it here on Sheep's Shorts. Remember to include: When What Where Who and Why. TRANSITIONS In just seven months our ministry will be going through some significant changes. Marty Edwards will be retiring as our international president, moving to a non-board member, part- time support position and long-time member Lazaro Alba will become our new international president. Furthermore, our Murrieta, CA headquarters will be closing and a new location and facility will be established in Hesperia, CA.
