Election 2016:
How Will It Affect
the Industry?
Regardless of whether you're a political junkie, you've probably heard
plenty (perhaps too much) about the upcoming presidential election. Sifting
through the often unrealistic promises of politicians is difficult, particularly
a potentially divided government all but ensures that many proposals will
never become policy. Nevertheless, we can make some prognostications
on the basis of where the major candidates stand on various issues. So,
how will the data center industry fare under a Hillary Clinton or Donald
Trump presidency? Let's try to navigate the stormy waters of political
rhetoric by considering a few relevant issues (in no particular order).
