REVIVIN (Fritillaria Extract) Revivin contains the the herb, Fritillaria, also called Bolbostemma, a traditional Chinese medicine listed in the Supplement to the Compendium of Materia Medica in 1765 during the Qing Dynasty. It was traditionally used for breast carcinoma, mammary abscess, cyclomastopathy and tuberculosis of the lymph. It was found to be effective in suppressing tumor growth and reducing inflammation. One of the main mechanisms by which Revivin is beneficial to cancer patients is by stopping uncontrolled cell replication. DNA mutations can cause a disruption in the cell cycle, allowing cells to multiply uncontrollably, eventually forming a tumor. Revivin inhibits this uncontrolled cell replication by blocking the transition from the G1 phase to the S phase (see Figure to the right). This ensures that damaged or mutated DNA does not get passed on to daughter cells, in effect, stopping the uncontrolled cell division (referred to as cell cycle arrest). We have had many success stories from patients using Angiostop and Revivin and the entire cancer protocol (includes Asparagus Extract and Reishi Spore Extract) for various types of abnormal growths.
