We care about our customers, our staff and the community, and we are proactive about it. For us at Northeastern Supply, caring, giving back, and doing something to show our gratitude, is an ongoing activity. And we give a special thanks to Rodney Wilmer, for his 47 years of serving NE and our customers. NORTHEASTERN SUPPLY CEO STEVE COOK HAS OFTEN SAID, "IT'S ALL ABOUT THE PEOPLE." Part of NE's mission since its founding in 1945 has been to provide the best knowledge and customer service to its customers. To achieve our mission, we go to great lengths to hire the best people who adhere to the company credo of "Doing whatever it takes to be your preferred supplier." One such hire is Rodney Wilmer, who has spent the past 47 years doing whatever it took to help his NE customers and resolve any issues, providing solutions for any customer-related problems. Wilmer, who rose through the company to his position of Branch Manager of the Newport/Wilmington Branch, was hired by former NE President/ Owner John Cook and Nelson Prange (the branch manager at that time) when he walked into the Elkton store 47 years ago. Wilmer said, "When I walked in that building in November of '72, I knew this was the place I wanted to be. It had that vibe." NE Branch Manager retires after 47 years of serving the public Work hard, play hard & give back It's all about giving back and showing our appreciation to customers, staff and the community. CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY AT GOLDEN RING In August, at our Golden Ring location, we held an event specifically to give back to our customers. Thirty NE vendors participated and product promotions, food, games and door prizes were given all day long — along with a "dunk for charity" tank. The dunk for charity was held under the auspices of Gold in Fight, (goldinfight.org), an organization dedicated to relieving some of the hardships and stresses of families fighting childhood cancer — Get in the ring; Fight for families; K.O. Childhood cancer. As shown in the picture above left, NE matched what was donated throughout the event and several NE executives volunteered to be dunked in the tank. #dunkforcharity #NEgivesback #goldinfight #workhardplayhard W e care about our customers, our staff and the community, and we are proactive about it. For us at NE, caring, giving back and doing something to show our gratitude is an ongoing activity. It really starts with showing you, our valued customers, our appreciation for your support, and continues with functions for staff and the community. With too many activities to mention, a few are mentioned here so that the organizations and causes can garner some extra attention and perhaps extra support. But what follows is just a small round-up of our saying "thank you" — to the NE family of people who work for us, the customers who support us and the communities we serve. CARES
