If you are using filtered water, find out what is actually being filtered out. The filter must remove heavy metals and glyphosate. 3. Clean the home with natural products. If you cannot understand items on the label, DO NOT USE THEM! Women who work from home are 5X more likely to get cancer (because of increased exposure to household toxins) than women who work outside the home. Though there are no sta s cs for indoor pets, the conclusion can be drawn that pets that are strictly indoors will have a higher rate of serious disease because they are exposed to household toxins 24/7. EWG.org is a fantas c resource to evaluate the products you are using. Under the consumer guide sec on, products can be searched and their ra ng evaluated. They rate products from A to F based on the amount of toxic ingredients. Choose products with an A ra ng. EWG also has a free app, Healthy Living (Green logo that matches the EWG logo) that can be used to scan products from a smart phone and see their ra ng! Contact my office for links to good companies and DIY recipes. 4. Anything that touches the skin, including laundry detergent (clothes retain the preserva ves from the soap and the toxin is absorbed through the skin), shampoo, condi oners, moisturizers, makeup, perfumes and body soap must be chemical and preserva ve free.
