Turn off wifi when not home and when sleeping. Increase the distance from the EMF (don't place pet beds by routers). Avoid "smart devices" as they produce excessive EMF. Employ protection devices against electromagnetic fields (EMFs). Controlling Inflammation and Obesity STOP FEEDING TOXINS Processed diets (kibble and can foods) are devoid of enzymes and probiotics (vitally needed gut bacteria and yeast). They are loaded with omega-6 fatty acids (which promotes inflammation) and deficient in omega-3s. Processed diets are high in carbohydrates (dogs and cats are not designed to eat a high carb diet), which lead to poor digestion, obesity and a suppressed immune system. The fats may go rancid once the bag is opened longer than a week. Read labels!!! Avoid diets with artificial colors and preservatives. If you can't pronounce an ingredient, don't let your pet eat it! Toxins that cannot be eliminated by the body are stored in fat and are released slowly over time, creating dis-ease. Solution Feed a species appropriate balanced (proper ratio of organ, bone and meat) raw diet (dogs are carnivores and cats are obligate carnivores) composed of grass fed meat and organic vegetables. Avoid Over Medicating and Over Vaccinating We have been a society that treats symptoms and ignores the root cause. The "symptom" is an indicator light, a clue designed to lead you to the underlying issue. Solution Do the entire above well and pets will rarely get sick. If medication is needed, choose alternative therapies when appropriate or integrate eastern and western treatments when applicable. Consider risk of exposure when determining what vaccines to administer. Vaccines do not make pets healthy, they are designed to stimulate an immune response. NEVER VACCINATE AN ANIMAL THAT IS NOT HEALTHY Skin disease, gastrointestinal disorders and musculoskeletal issues are all indicators that an animal is under stress. These issues should be resolved before stimulating with a vaccine or the vaccine response will further stress an already compromised immune system! Choose a 3-year vaccine when possible. When available, do vaccine titers to determine if the pet really needs the vaccine or is still protected from previous shots. We give homeopathic remedies after vaccination. Specific Tips To Detoxify A good detox program begins with a thorough history (including chronic and acute issues) and a physical exam. Bioenergetic testing looks at the frequencies that are out of balance and provides the balancing frequencies to restore the balance and allow the body to heal. It is a simple and inexpensive test we run in our office. Yearly blood work that includes a complete blood count, chemistry profile and urinalysis aid in evaluating the function of the kidneys, liver and other organs. This information guides our choices for detoxification. It is important to have the major routes of elimination open before beginning a detox. Once toxins are being released, they need to safely and effectively leave the body; otherwise they can create more serious dis-ease. There are many ways to detox, not one is better or worse, it is what the individual patient needs. That being said, the liver is always the center of my detox program. I use herbs (both Chinese and western), salt room therapy, gem stone and full spectrum light, homeopathy, frequency, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), Ozone, PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic frequency), far infrared sauna, coffee enemas, chiropractic care, acupuncture, releasing trapped emotions and lymphatic drainage in my detox program. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy, Ozone and pulsed electromagnetic frequency (PEMF) are revolutionary medical technologies. Amongst their many benefits, they help the body eliminate waste and toxins and are effective against many degenerative diseases. Changes in live blood are evident after therapy.
