ISTA held the 2nd ISTA Asia Pacific Packaging
Symposium on November 1-3 in Bangkok, Thailand. It
was organized by the ISTA Asia Pacific Division Board and
hosted by Kasetsart University Department of Packaging
and Materials Technology. The Symposium was well
attended with over 100 attendees.
The Symposium program included 15 high quality presenters and presentations discussing measuring distribution environments, lab testing,
e-Commerce and parcel shipment packaging along with case studies on the development of distribution packaging. Attendees enjoyed a
unique networking welcome dinner with traditional entertainment on the first evening and concluded the event with a guided tour of the
Authority Port of Thailand and a visit to the Packaging and Materials Technology, Kasetsart University and Thai Packaging Centre.
