After their hilarious run at the Long Center last fall, the Boys of the Bard are back by popular demand! Using a suggested title from the audience, The Improvised Shakespeare Company creates a fully improvised play in Elizabethan style, right before your eyes. Nothing is planned-out, rehearsed or written. Each play is completely improvised, so each play is entirely new and totally hysterical!
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 25, 7:30PM
Combining sharp skits with devastatingly funny parodies of popular American songs, the Capitol Steps are equal opportunity-bashers. Democrats, Republicans and Independents, watch out! And everyone, prepare to laugh!
America's foremost political satirists are primed for election season and ready to serve up the best political humor this side of Saturday Night Live.
Monty Python's Spamalot
This Tony Award-winning, outrageous musical comedy has been "lovingly ripped off" from the classic film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Spamalot tells the tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table as they embark on their quest for the Holy Grail, and along the way encounter flying cows, killer rabbits, arrogant Frenchmen and, oh yes, some show stopping musical numbers!
