These rooms offer amenities s u c h a s k i t c h e n s , T V s , s h o w e r s , laundry facilities and a break from the hospital scene, creating a sense of home. A bIRTh To RemembeR: With 19 labor and delivery rooms, eight ante- partum rooms and 62 postpartum rooms, the Birth Place at Sky Ridge is poised to deliver more babies than any other hospital in Colorado. Plans also include six amenity suites for a little extra pampering. New amenities will make the birth experience even more special. cRITIcAL cARe: The expanded Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Sky Ridge will feature 24 single-patient rooms, three twin rooms and one triplet room and be equipped with the latest in medical technology to care for the tiniest and sickest babies. K I d - F R I e n d L y , d o c T o R - APPRoved: A 1 0 - b e d u n i t allows pediatric patients a calming and colorful place to get well, combining bright- colored accents with playful lighting. Each private room has its own bathroom with s h o w e r , t u b a n d a s e a t i n g area for parents and caregivers to assist with bathing. Also included: a bed for an overnight family member and PlayStations for some familiar fun. A SwedISh PUb?: When Mom needs some privacy, a brand- new 'Family Pub' offers a place for family to gather.
