On an cloudy Sunday, June 16th, we celebrated the fourth annual bike blessing hosted in conjunction with our beloved former parish in Brittany. Since its inception in 2021, which saw just nine motorcycles gathered, the event has grown exponentially; this year, we welcomed over 200 bikes, each rider sharing in a day of faith, fellowship, and the open road. We are profoundly grateful to God for continually expanding this community, bringing together riders from diverse backgrounds. While not all participants share our Christian faith, the atmosphere of camaraderie and shared experience provides fertile ground for spiritual seeds. Whether drawn by the joy of riding or the simple pleasure of good food, many leave our gatherings touched by a deeper sense of connection. We hope that the interactions and the messages shared might one day lead them to embrace faith fully. In a meaningful gesture, each rider was gifted a bracelet inscribed with Jeremiah 17:7, "Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in Him." This verse serves as a reminder of the peace and assurance that faith in God can bring into our lives. Looking ahead, we are excited to introduce this meaningful tradition to our new parish, embracing this as our next chapter of outreach and community building. We are immensely thankful for the prayers and support received through messages on Facebook and beyond. Your encouragement fuels our mission.
