Where's The Fruit? Pale Rider & Lady-T South Bay L.A. The crowds drew near to Jesus because of His activity. (Matthew 15:30). Jesus looked upon the crowds and was moved with compassion to alleviate their suffering. He taught them, preached the Gospel of the Kingdom and healed them. Jesus was called and sent by His Father, so He also sends us. John 20:6. We all love it when we see a great gathering of Black Sheep descending on one location. It's exciting! But where's the fruit? What is the fruit? We know Black Sheep HDFC is not a church, but we are a part of the Church of Jesus Christ. He calls us to go and do the things He did, John 14:12, and so we do. But what does that look like? Time and time again, as we venture out to events, the LORD sets up divine opportunities for grace encounters. He brings people across our path for a purpose, that purpose being prayer, so be prepared! Jesus said, "No one comes to Him except the Father draws him." (John 6:44). It is the same with us. He brings people to us. We are called out and sent. By who? Jesus and His Church. He has built His Church on the truth that He is the Christ, and has put leaders in place all the way down to the local level, to send out His workers into His field of Harvest. Workers being moved with compassion, teaching the things Jesus said, preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom, and ministering His healing to those He brings us." (Matthew 9:35-36) We have been commissioned by Jesus to go. I feel very strongly that we each need to be sent by our own local church, supported ,covered in prayer, and under its auspices. I believe it is vital to our mission to introduce Jesus and.make disciples through the ministry of the local church. I am so happy and grateful that our local church, Calvary Chapel South Bay here in Los Angeles, has seen fit to include us, Black Sheep HDFC, as part of their local outreach to reach people for Jesus. More than that, I am grateful because I know the LORD goes with us. We are called out and sent (Romans 10:14-15), and He brings individuals to us to pray for, as He ministers His healing to them through us. Praise GOD and Thank Him for the local church and thank GOD for Black Sheep Harley- Davidson for Christ. Amen! a
