Chapter Focus Arrowhead Black Sheep HDFC (AZ) Chapter President: Chris French (Below) On the last day of the year in 2023, Arrowhead Black Sheep (AZ) held a ceremony for patching- in three new members: Kerri Jones, Kathleen Curnutt, and Todd Curnutt. These new members now bring our chapter total to nineteen. This is huge for us, as this has increased our chapter from 9 members, just three years ago, to now having 19 fully patched members with yet another mentee beginning the process this month. The wonderful thing about our chapter is that of our 19 members, 6 are ladies, and of those 6 ladies, 3 whom ride their own motorcycles. Arrowhead (originally the Phoenix Black Sheep) has really grown since our organizing in 2007. Part of the reason for this growth, I believe, is because of our decision in the beginning to minister and support other chapters and events, allowing Black Sheep to have more of a presence. Two examples of this was our ride West to California to support BSHDFC events, and our ride South in supporting our flock in Yuma for the creation of the 14:23 chapter, and another ride to Florence, AZ to help and support our Exodus chapter. In summary, cooperation and encouragement to our fellow BSHDFC members has proven to be a direction that God has blessed. Our chapter has also maintained a huge presence with our local Arrowhead Dealership HOG 5104 chapter. We are also feeding the homeless every Sunday morning in downtown Phoenix. I want to encourage all of our BSHDFC chapters in America and abroad to stay the course, and no matter what happens, do not give up! Practice obedience in all that you do and God will bring the right people to you! Three years ago, Todd and Kathy rode 75 plus miles in 30-degree weather to witness my patching into the Black Sheep. Now, three years later, they themselves have joined our chapter, along with Kerri Jones! What encouraged Todd, Kathy and Kerri to become Black Sheep members were the relationships that we have built. Shawn and Brande Green, along with "Papa Bear" Denny Smith, have really taken the time to get to know the mentees, and to form relationships with them. Our members have been consistent with spending time with mentees and protentional mentees by guiding and encouraging them on what it means to be a BSHDFC member. May God receive all glory and honor that He alone deserves as we continue to be about our Father's business. b
