Tell us what is working or what has been happening in your chapters. The management of the Elegante' understand that at some point we may need to (God forbid!) once again cancel due to COVID, but we need to be optimistic and ready and show the hotel our intentions. We encourage members from various parts of the country to organize their riders and descend upon Colorado Springs with a thunderous arrival! We need to be together! Pray for ILS to happen! b Black Sheep Classics: Yes, it's a thing! A new thing! In addition to the incredible motorcycle ministry of twenty- one years, we are about to launch a classic car ministry! Much like motorcycle riders, classic car and truck people are a sub-culture of their own. They frequent the same places, go on long road trips, listen to classic rock'n roll and eat foot that's generally not good for you! There is no "patch" or heavy "club protocols" to deal with this time around. It's just an opportunity for those who drive classic cars to reach out to those of like-mindedness with the love of Christ. Founders of BSC, Robert and Yadira Chavira, have chosen to "adapt" BSHDFC's bylaws, pledge and mentorship process for their membership? Why? Because, once again, BSC is not a club, it's a ministry. Like their big brother, it's not about cars and motorcycles, it's about finding ways to touch people who will likely never darken the door of a church. We have secured a place to stay for our chapter and we are planning on hosting some get togethers at night. We are also planning to visit 10-11 Florida dealerships: Fort Myers Harley Davidson, Rossister HD, Tampa Bay HD, Harley Davidson, Brandon HD, Lakeland HD, Orlando HD, Sanford HD, Orlando HD (Third Time Visit, we have a good relationship with the dealership) Sanford HD (First Time Visit) Daytona Main Street Adamec HD at Saint Augustine (First Time Visit to this location), Daytona Speedway, Orlando HD and Destination Daytona (Third Time Visit). The South will rise again! b We Might Not Have It Because We Haven't Asked For It: You have heard that a group of Black Sheep and friends meet every Tuesday morning at the BSHDFC national office for prayer. For a solid hour, 6-12 men and women pray for this ministry and its member's needs. We pray for Willie G's salvation and even the struggling motorcycle companies (Indian and HD). We pray for our members and friends who are sick or injured. We pray for membership growth, financial growth, geographical growth – but most of all the kind of growth that comes from riders coming to Christ for salvation! We pray for our board, our regional directors and chapters – and especially for our area contacts who are all alone. And God is answering many of our prayers. Jesus said it Himself, "You have not because you ask not!" We encourage ALL of our chapters and ALL of our area contacts to MAKE TIME for a weekly or even a monthly time of prayer. Call in the prayer warriors from your local churches! Pray for growth! Pray for favor! Pray for creativity! Pray for a passion for the unsaved! We say "God is with us" but how much more so if we are coming together to request for these things. Prayer works! Prayer makes the difference! And it may be the difference you have been looking for in your ministry. b
