6 | WheelsOfGrace.com | Issue 52 Our mission is: To educate and entertain the motorcycle enthusiast, promote motorcycle riding through media with a motorcycle magazine that has a posi ve message and worthy to be read by all, free from content that is offensive while glorifying God. "The fool has said in his heart, "There is no God, they are corrupt, and have commi ed abominable injus ce" (Psalm 53:1a). People with no religious affilia on – atheists and agnos cs - according to sta s cs make up the third largest religious group in the world. According to the Pew Forum, 2.5 billion people call themselves Chris an; 1.8 billion iden fy themselves as Muslims, and roughly a billion consider themselves "Nones" unaffiliated with any religion. There is another group that I call "Pans" and we'll touch on the "Pans" at the end of this ar cle. But everyone has a god, a controlling power in life. Everyone has a religion, a belief about ma ers of me and eternity. How we think about our "god" determines who we are. We inevitably become like the God we serve. If we reject the God of Heaven, we unavoidably create lesser gods for ourselves, whether idols of wood or stone, or idols of chrome or ma e black, idols of horsepower or speed, or idols of the heart like ego sm, greed and power. e d i t o r ' s S A D D L E EDITOR'S SADDLE THE NONES AND THE PANS NONES: Atheism is an inferior to Chris anity as falsehood used to the truth, both in its intellectual integrity and in its psychological implica ons. If you're going to be a "None" be the kind that is honest and proud of being a None. Please, don't yell "Oh God!" when scared or in trouble. The real problem with being a "None" is that you will always be seeking and searching, focused in whatever you make your god to be, because that's how you were made. There is a big empty gaping hole in the core of your being that is always searching for more. That big empty gaping hole can never be filled by your research, your experiments, adventures and your personal achievements. Once you get to where you thought would be sufficient, you need more. The mes it is filled, it is only temporarily thus the cycle of searching begins again. That bo omless hole was put there to be filled by the ONLY ONE THING that can truly fill it and run it over: the love of God in Christ. PANS: If you believe in God make sure that you are not a "Pan". From the Greek word Pantheism, the word gets its roots from two words in the Greek PAN (many, as many, en rety) and THEISMOS (the belief in existence of a God or gods). If you are a Believer, the ques on is, can others that don't know you tell, that you are a Believer by your "everyday living"? And not just by your t-shirt? If you are a believer in God, and in Christ, make sure you live in a way that they can tell Who you believe in. That is not living a life of perfec on, or a life of sinless behavior. But a life of making every decision from small to big according to God's Book: the Bible. Ask yourself these ques ons: - Do I put God first? - Do I try to live my life by honoring God, honoring my spouse (if married), and love the ones close to me that are not family? - Do I make my decisions based on the Bible versus what the world, the economy, my family, my friends, poli cians, my boss, and even my pastor say? It is not a bad thing to inquire from experts or do the research in order to form an opinion. But, when it comes down to making a decision, is it what the Bible says to do? Is the LOGOS your final authority? Most of the me experts know what they're talking about but remember, experts build the Titanic and it sunk. God built the Ark and it floated. No man can come close to the wisdom of our God. Bikers for Christ M/M members rumble around the world on their motorcycles proclaiming that Jesus Christ is Lord to "all types of people" (especially Bikers), with an emphasis on living out the Great Commission.
