Abby's Magazine - Volume 5 Issue 6 | Page 11 Under normal opera ons, oxygen goes into the lungs, blood stream, into the ssue and is burned in the mitochondria, using the proteins, fats and carbohydrates as fuel. Out comes energy and carbon dioxide as a waste product, which travels back out through the lungs and is exhaled. However, the mitochondria energy factories can become so broken with the interference of toxins and the wrong fuel that they are unable to maintain the same energy produc ons and enter into anaerobic metabolism (without oxygen) which produces lac c acid as a byproduct. Body pH or the correct acid-alkaline balance then changes to the acid side, which further inhibits blood from carrying the same amount of oxygen. This low oxygen environment opens the door for harmful microorganisms to rapidly take hold and overwhelm the immune system. In my experience, the highest most toxic thing that a person can carry around in their body, is a root canal tooth. The root canal is a dead tooth infected with anaerobic bacteria that produce bio toxins of the highest order that leak into their body and make them sick. According to Boyd Haley, a re red biochemist from the University of Kentucky, one infected root canal can depress the immune system by 63%. Why can't he move or think or why does he have cancer? What is wrong with the body energy system? My first thing to look for is, how is their mouth? How are the gums? How many root canal teeth? Are there bad metals in their mouth, the mercury and gold? All of the miracle pa ents I have helped, when they saw ten doctors before, it is because I found the problem in their mouth and others didn't even think of it or know what to look for. We are at a point where the materials and procedures that have been done in den stry are now detrimental to many pa ents and we have to step in and get the pa ent results they are looking for. I have never seen a pa ent with a chronic illness ever get be er with a bad mouth! We call it "Natural Den stry" as we are evalua ng and then recommending a dental treatment plan guided by what supports health in the whole body. As we say, natural den stry is health den stry. Without collabora on between the doctor and den st, too many people are sidelined from the enjoyable and produc ve aspects of life with unresolved health problems. The mouth is important to the body. A er the brain, the greatest concentra on of the autonomic nervous system receptors are in the mouth and teeth. The energy meridian pathways of the body also run through the teeth. The fi h cranial nerve innerva ng the jaw is the largest nerve in the body providing a direct connec on to the brain. To monitor the "current moment," wouldn't a body want to know what was coming down the pike! Bacteria and toxins in the mouth are up stream from everything else! Anything wrong in the mouth; with the jaw structure, the bite, toxic bacteria, or metal toxicity is part of the immediate calcula ons the body must make to maintain internal stability. It has to calculate, throughout all its systems, a coordinated response giving energy and a en on to those things most threatening to survival. Well Connected That the mouth is so well connected systemically, is not a new idea. We don't need to reinvent the wheel when it is easier to stand on the shoulders of the giants who immediately precede us! Here is a short list to peek your inves ga ve interest:Weston Price, Hal Huggins, Mar n H. Fischer, Reinhold Voll, Al Fonder, William B. Wherry, Frank Billings, Paul Keyes, Edward C. Rosenow, Royal Lee, Melvin Page, Francis Po enger, H. P. Pickerioll, Norman Thomas and Bernard Janklelson. The ideas they presented are going mainstream on the World Wide Web and being promulgated by major and popular health related sites. Google "Weston Price" and see the search results you get! The old idea that the body can be sec oned off and treated differently by the doctor and den st is rapidly
