Customers, expectations were changing and Harley needed new technology to keep apace. To respond to the demand for more sophisticated machinery, Harley fit an advanced two-port exhaust system on its 350-cc overhead-value single in 1929. Unfortunately, the Great Depression dampened the demand for these advanced bikes and few were sold, making them extremley rare today. Unsold machines were rebadged as 1930 models, allowing the design to soldier on for another year, and then the two-port single disappeared. Bike Owner: Al Hiberger
