But there are a few new details that have us eager to get the full scoop. First, we now know the duo will officially launch before the end of 2020. Second, we've go en new specifica ons on the engines that will power H-D's first entries into these motorcycling segments. Third and admi edly less noteworthy, we know that the Milwaukee-based brand is working with other big names in the motorcycle space in an a empt to get these bikes right from both styling and performance angles. Perhaps the most intriguing bits of news about the Pan America and Bronx revolve around their new liquid-cooled, 60-degree V-twin engines. Polaris shared its financial results for 2019 and, contrarily to most companies that have done so un l now, it remains rather vague about the numbers. All we know is that there's been low, mid, and high-single-digit percent growth and loss. The good news is that despite the industry's slump in 2019, Indian Motorcycle's sales are up. We don't know by how much, but they are up. That's as clear as it gets. According to a company press release, Indian Motorcycles did pre y well compared to others with a "low single-digit percent" increase in sales—the exact numbers are apparently a secret. Polaris says that the changes in leadership have likely contributed to the growth and confirms that sales were mainly driven by the new Challenger, introduced in late October 2019. By the look of it, the new bagger was a massive success, enough to propel the sales forward in only two full months of sale out of the three analyzed in Q4. Sadly, the brand doesn't get its own sec on of the report so "it's up" is pre y much all we get. The news came a er Indian's direct and No 1 compe tor Harley- Davidson announced a significant drop in sales in 2019, notably due to a difficult U.S. market. Both American companies are expec ng be er results in 2020. wHEELS OF GRaCE COnTEST? C o M Celebrity toy collector Joel Magee has acquired one of the rarest Hot Wheels cars ever made, and it may be worth an astronomical amount. The 1968 Custom Camaro was one of a handful of Enamel White prototypes for the original "Sweet 16" car that were never meant to be sold. Designers painted the cars white near the end of the process to help spot imperfec ons, according to Magee, but the color was never offered on the produc on toy. He told Fox News Autos that insiders believe the designers brought the cars home for their kids to play with, so a few ended up in circula on. What makes this one par cularly unique is that is the only one with a made in Hong Kong chassis, something no one has been able to explain. Magee, known as America's Toy Scout, said he found it while looking through a collec on of cars in a non-descript carry case and has consulted several experts regarding its authen city. Magee described it as a "Holy Grail" in a press release about the discovery, and said it is one of the three rarest Hot Wheels in the world, along with a prototype Olds 442 and the Beach Bomb custom van prototype that Hot Wheels maker Ma el says is worth $150,000. Magee didn't reveal what he paid for the Camaro -- which would've been worth $0.59 when new -- but he thinks he can get at least $100,000 for it today. TM
