ISTA held the 6th European Packaging Symposium,
organized by ISTA and Fundación ITENE, at ITENE's
facilities in Valencia, Spain on 7th-9th March. 90 attendees
from 15 countries gathered at the Symposium making this
the largest European Packaging Symposium to date.
The Symposium program included 18 high quality presenters and presentations discussing the changing challenges of transport
packaging from export to e-Commerce fulfilment. Attendees enjoyed a special guided tour of the Port Authority of Valencia (PAV). The
PAV is the public body responsible for running and managing three state-owned ports along an 80km stretch of the Mediterranean coast
in Eastern Spain: Valencia, Sagunto and Gandía. The evening networking event included discovering traditional foods and a guided tour
of the streetlights displays during the Fallas Festival.
