The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region has been developing quickly in recent years as a powerful emerging economy as well as a major player in technology markets. Late last year, China surpassed the U.S. as the world's largest economy (when adjusted for purchasing power) according to Business Insider. Even ignoring the adjustment and placing China in second place, the huge nation remains a rising economic power. And with over 2.5 billion people between China and India alone, combined with growing use of mobile and other electronic devices, the APAC region is a huge target market for data center operators. But economic turmoil in recent months may eventually have an impact even on digital markets. Here's a look at what's happening in the APAC market for data center real estate.
