The Asia-Pacific (APAC) region has been developing quickly in recent years
as a powerful emerging economy as well as a major player in technology
markets. Late last year, China surpassed the U.S. as the world's largest
economy (when adjusted for purchasing power) according to Business
Insider. Even ignoring the adjustment and placing China in second place, the
huge nation remains a rising economic power. And with over 2.5 billion people
between China and India alone, combined with growing use of mobile and
other electronic devices, the APAC region is a huge target market for data
center operators. But economic turmoil in recent months may eventually
have an impact even on digital markets. Here's a look at what's happening in
the APAC market for data center real estate.
