Thank you. B.A.T. is constantly on the go speaking and working throughout the United States and Canada. We also make an impact in several countries around the globe. (One of our newest connections is a Motorcycle Ministry in Haiti and we ask that you keep Haiti in your prayers as it is a nation in total chaos). If you want to start up a Chapter in your area, please reach out to Doc@BikersAgainstTrafficking.org We help facilitate three houses and seven apartments on the West Coast of Florida and our newest home in Central Florida. We also have a respite house in Virginia and Tennessee. SOMETIMES LIFE CAN SEEM HOPELESS! I can remember the day clearly. I was sitting on my bed, and I was depressed, hopeless, full of defeat and the demons of my past were squeezing any positivity out of my life. I had been trafficked when younger; fell into addiction as my dad was one of the Cocaine Cowboys in Miami; I had battled being homeless and not having anything to eat (I had to eat out of dumpsters); abuse was rampant in my life and the word that kept circulating in my cranium was that I was "useless." Bikers Against Trafficking was birthed to give hope to those who feel as though there is no hope. We provide whatever services that are needed and whether it is giving addiction counseling, trauma counseling, housing, mentoring, school and life needs… whatever the need… B.A.T. seeks to be the hands and feet of God to help meet that need. When I was stuck in my hopeless pit there was not a lot of help for me. People shunned me, judged me and no one ever stopped to ask, "What happened to him?" People were quick to judge, criticize and condemn. There was no one who held out a hand and said, "dude, let's do this together." I am a part of BAT because I want to do more than just talk about stuff going on. I want to help be the solution. Rainey and I felt as though someone needed to do MORE, not that it was easy or that we had any money. We just knew that God was calling us to make a difference. B.A.T. began and it continues to grow and make an impact around the world. At present we are building a model that can be duplicated in any State to help those in the Foster Care system who have been trafficked or who are in danger of being trafficked. At present we help house over 300 kids and young adults who have all been molested or trafficked providing housing, education and counseling through our partnership with AMF. Plus…we continue to get calls from all over the United States; we are establishing Chapters including our newest one just outside of LA, in California. On a strange note, we just received notice that we won some Nonprofit of the year award in England for the work we do fighting to eliminate Human Trafficking. We could not do as much as we are without your prayers and financial support. We know that with inflation and costs connected to every aspect of life shooting through the roof your investment in BAT is sacrificial and we just want you to know that we are honored. Thank you for believing in us, for supporting us. In Him, Doc and Rainey Come join with us as we seek to break the chains of human sexual trafficking in the United States. Founded by "Doc" Nave and Diena Cannavino, BAT is a non-profit that educates, empowers, counsels and mobilizes members of the motorcycle community to make a difference in this age old war.
