After riding behind my husband Doug "Dude" for 30 years,
one day, while watching our lady riders in Alaska, I thought to myself, "If
they can do this, I can certainly do this." So I took the MSF course in
Alaska in 2004 and have been riding my own ever since. I have ridden
everything from a Buell Blast to an Ultra Classic, but I am now currently
riding a Tri-Glide.
In 2005, Doug and I came across Black Sheep HDFC and felt God's tug
on our hearts to this ministry. We started the Black Sheep chapter in
Alaska and then, in 2007, moved from Alaska to Arizona, where we
quickly got established in the Foothills HOG chapter out of Chandler,
Arizona, and at that time, the Foothills Black Sheep chapter. Through
various trials and tribulations, the Foothills Black Sheep chapter ended up
folding for a number of years.
