The rising prices of everyday necessities in Haiti continue to rise. This is having a huge effect on our ministry. Your continued support has been critical. This is a very high level view of the finances of Children's Hope. The graphs on the opposite page tell the story of the sources of our income, and how that money is used. With a small North American footprint, we are able to allocate the majority of our financial resources directly into our operations and programs in Haiti. We have seen some unprecedented inflation in Haiti in 2022. There has been a perfect storm of a rise in prices, a scarcity of available goods, and the control of gangs over whatever remains of a supply chain. This has left the people financially devastated and desperate. Your continued financial support has allowed us to continue to minister in the community of Jacmel through these times. Your support has literally given food to the starving, given medical care to the sick and dying, and provided shelter to refugees fleeing gang-ravaged neighborhoods. We wanted to show you some numbers to help explain some of the inflation on common items people need.
