Bikers With Boxes Black Sheep North Carolina The word on the streets was, "Load up your bike and share God's love! Bring gift-filled shoeboxes for children in need to the 12th Annual 'Bikers With Boxes' charity event." Along with others, North Carolina Black Sheep again supported the ministry of Samaritan's Purse which included a ride to the Billy Graham Library for a day of fellowship, music, food, giveaways and much more—all to benefit Operation Christmas Child. The goal was 6,500 shoeboxes for kids. Some came alone, some with their club, and then there were the Black Sheep. Inside the Billy Graham Library riders could retrace Billy Graham's dynamic journey from humble farm boy to international ambassador of God's love through fascinating exhibits. What a great day to ride, share Christ and bless the children! Ministry Happens! â The Lucky Penny Author Withheld I thought you might enjoy this story. I call it the "Lucky Penny." Recently while I was on a solo ride, I pulled into a gas station for fuel and a snack. I was wearing my BSHDFC vest when I parked my bike to go into the store. When I looked down, I saw a penny lying on the pavement beside my bike. At first I chuckled because my eight year old grandson is always finding money on the ground, so I reached down to pick it up when I heard the Lord speak to my heart saying "give it away!" I looked up and there was a lady getting out of her car beside me. I handed it to her saying, "I found a lucky penny and it's for you." That's when she started to cry and when I asked her if she was alright she said she was on her way to visit her brother who had just had a bad accident and was not expected to live. I told her I was a chaplain and we prayed for her brother. A month or so later I got a call from Patrick, her brother thanking Black Sheep for praying for him and that he knew God had touched his life. Next time you see a penny on the ground...pick it up...and give it away! â Rock'n The Patch in Europe Black Sheep continues to be well represented by, Fabrice Panato (aka "Fabulous Fab") with his wife Elisabeth and their three sons. (One rides on the back with Fabrice and two ride in mom's sidecar!) He is seen here (right) ready to roll and share his faith with others. Harleys are few and far in between Europe, but now we have a mentee in Belgium as well as France...a mere 500 miles away from Fabrice and Elisabeth! Pray for the growth of BSHDFC in Europe...and why not email Fabrice and Elisabeth and the boys at: FabulousFab.BSHDFC@yahoo.com â "Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing."
