6 | WheelsOfGrace.com | #60 I am concerned that the rear cylinder has an intake leak or something causing the rear cylinder to be leaner than the front. The bike has 11,000 miles. I need this bike to last for many years and just want to make sure I don't have a problem. I do not trust the dealership any longer, as I was told five different answers about where the cat converter is on this model. I don't think they have a clue when it comes to newer engines. There is nothing unusual with what you describe. It is what it is. If you are not experiencing any problems, why look for one? Don't overthink it. It's an air-cooled motor. The 2014 Softails are excellent, and the performance upgrades you added are great choices. Service that bike regularly and it will last you a good long time. CVO Cam Plate My bike is a 2018 CVO 117. Is my cam plate better than a regular HD or should I buy the S&S since I'm this far? Do I have to get the bike re-mapped after this complete install? Your CVO has the same cam plate HD #25400133. Your stock cam plate should work fine. However, if you decide to change to a higher lift cam, we suggest going with a complete S&S cam chest kit. Replacing only a cam plate does not require any tuning. Evo Oil Drops I have this 1992 FLTCHU with 50,000 miles, and now all of the sudden I am getting blow by drips under the bike after 150 to 200 miles of good riding. What is causing this and is there a cure? Electra Glide Classic If the oil you are referring to is coming from the bottom breather, you may be able to remedy the issue by stretching the check ball spring in your oil pump. Only stretch it so that it is approximately 1/4″ longer. If it doesn't change anything, or eventually becomes worse, you may need to consider replacing the oil pump with an S&S pump. Fire But No Fuel I have a 2003 EFI Softail that is getting fire but no fuel. I can spray fuel into the throttle body, and it will fire and run perfectly after it warms up. When I shut it off, it will not restart. I have changed the flywheel sensor, MAP, and fuel pump, but I still have the same problem. Also, will a crank assembly from a 02 A-type motor be the same as an 03 B-type motor? We suggest that you start with a fuel pressure test. You may have a blocked fuel floater, a bad fuel regulator, or a bad fuel pump assembly. Darkened Exhaust Pipe – Why? I have installed Cobra three- inch slip-ons, Vance & Hines VO2 naked air breather kit, and the FP3 from Vance & Hines as well. I did this to help enrich the fuel and cool down the engine a little as they are super lean stock. Before doing any of this, I noticed that the pipe from the front cylinder is a little darker than the rear cylinder and has soot in the end. Even with the upgrades, it is still the same.
