WheelsOfGrace.com | Volume 12 Issue 5 | 11 I own a motorcycle because of a personal life choice. One day when I am very old and I can't ride anymore, it will be in my garage as a trophy of my memories. Or maybe I will have pictures on the wall of all the great rides I took and all the awesome people I met. I have met people who taught me something and have the same spirit. THE LIFE THAT MANY WILL NOT UNDERSTAND By Ron Durham additions by Peter Kaye I have met people who have spoken wisdom in my life. I get wet, I get cold, and I have been hot. I have been afraid, and I have even hurt myself, but also, I have laughed out loud with the wind. I spoke a thousand mes with myself and God. S ll do. I sang and shouted with joy like a madman, and yes ... some mes I cried. I have seen wonderful places because of motorcycles. I have made curves that even my Pop's would be proud of. Other mes I made curves full of terror. I stopped many mes to see a landscape. I spoke with perfect strangers. I go out with frustra ons inside and return home with a feeling of absolute peace in my heart. I always think how dangerous it is, knowing that the meaning of courage is, to advance even when feeling fear. Every me I go up to my ride, I think about how wonderful it is. I learned through gestures to communicate with other riders. I spend money that I some mes do not have, I gave up many things, but it's all worth it... My bike is not a means of transporta on but is a piece of iron with wheels that I am blessed with and it's part of who I am. Lord, bless my friends and their joy of great people and motorcycles!
