Some of the projects that I have done are watering the community beds and mounds, helping rake mulch and rocks, trimming the vines with a hedge trimmer, helping with chicken duty, plan ng a pumpkin and watermelon mound, spreading hay, and helping lay water pipes. Another reason that I love the farm is because everyone that goes there (that I know of) is nice. They will help you with your bed (which everyone gets sooner or later), they will give you ps on how to do this or that, and they will just embark in conversa on. If you do not care about all of the things above, well all you get is fresh produce." ~ Fyfer Ray Fielding The stories from families of coming to the farm and finding peace, feeling healthy, mee ng new friends, and ge ng their bearings again are endless. We celebrated the birthday (as we always did, she hated it) of our founder Abby Sayler last month (May) and I'm reminded that in the midst of all of this madness she would have exhorted people to be at the farm, doing exactly what so many families like the Fieldings are doing.
