Ventura On Fire! Hello! I am "BLESDD1" - also known as Theresa. I have been riding with the Ventura Black Sheep now for about two years . For me, being a single female rider amongst my brothers in Christ has been an interesting journey, to say the least! They are very supportive and always ready to listen with an open heart which is followed up with a scripture to anchor it. We have truly become a unique family of GOD! Once a month we hold an open Bible Session in a Von's grocery store parking lot where we also minister to our homeless people one night a week. After securing their trust, they have now begun to come to hear God's WORD! Our chapter president, Erik Roberts, plans a ride every weekend with the purpose of being a bright light in this very dark world. We ride to Harley-Davidson dealerships, church invasions, motorcycle events, gather with other motorcycle ministries and MC's as well, all with the purpose of sharing our testimonies and encouraging others to press on to the mark. My sole purpose for being created is to bring the utmost Glory to Almighty GOD! Jesus Christ is my first love, my first thought upon waking up, and my every breath in & out. I am consumed by His deep love for me! I know I am cherished and completely adored by The Holy of Holies! My Lord has knighted me as His mighty warrior who puts Him first and foremost! I would like very much to one day ride alongside a like-minded warrior, selected by our King of kings in lifelong victorious PRAISE! DID I GET YOUR ATTENTION ? GOOD! Please email BLESDD1 at easyriderspirit1@gmail.com . Our chapter is also on Facebook! Please join us for an unforgettable ride, fellowship & lunch! This family prays together and stays together. You will love us! Ï Diversified & Sanctified Every army must have a variety of skills and weapons in order to be ready for battle. (1 Corinthians 13:4- 14, 2 Corinthians 10:3-5, Ephesians 6) Some are appreciated for their physical strength while others use their razor sharp wit to strategize for victory. There are small arms as well as massive weapons used. Some soldiers are men and some are women - it doesn't matter. Some are fighters. Some are healers. Some are fresh recruits while others are battle hardened veterans. Color and race mean nothing on the battlefield; only training, courage, unity and sacrifice. Selfless sacrifice makes the difference! It's what heroes are made of. Black Sheep HDFC needs diversity to complete our mission: "To introduce the world of motorcycle riders to Jesus Christ, for the purpose of making more and better disciples through the ministry of the local church." We need people of strength and wisdom. We need (spiritual) fighters and healers. We need those who have the gifts of evangelism, compassion, mercy, service or any of the Holy Spirits empowerments. We need men and women! (Women, who often feel the need to take a back seat, are desperately needed to reach out to other women - many of whom we meet on the road.) We are people of all colors, all economic and educational backgrounds from all parts of the United States and from the 100 countries who currently have Harley-Davidson and Indian dealerships. We can't just be a local ministry because that is not our mission; it never has been! (We are to "To introduce the world of motorcycle riders to Jesus Christ...") Whoever and whatever you are, however, God has formed you and called you...we need you in this ministry! New rider? We need you! Crusty old biker dude? We need you! Riding a rusty ol' shovelhead or a brand new Indian Chief - we need you! Do you ride a Sporty? You'll relate to other Sportster riders and make them feel welcome! If you (1) love and serve Jesus Christ and (2) are committed to a local Christian church and (3) can abide by our bylaws, we need you to help the Black Sheep complete our mission! Time is short! The battle is raging on! Jesus is coming! Bikers are dying without the hope of eternal life! We must become all things to all people that some might be saved! (1Corinthians 9:19-23) Ï
