families, field trips, nature labs and special events. It will
obviously expand our education platform for husbandry of
farm animals and enable us to improve income potential for
events while helping in our pursuit of financial sustainability.
2. Develop a 1/2 acre area to be used to grow our own
organic blueberries. While this (as well as the animal farm)
has been on our "to do" list since our inception 5 years
ago, we are just now at a volunteer participation level that
would allow these types of projects. We currently have 75+
volunteer families that are actively engaged and working on
community projects weekly. The overall cost of developing
and maintaining the blueberries will be mitigated significantly
by volunteer families.
There will be lots of updates to follow as we begin these
wonderful additions to our farm. Thank you so much if you
have been supporting our farm over our first five years.
If you are interested in being a part of something famous in
our community, please go to our website abbysfarm.org to

the Farm" with your regular giving.
