The Scout gained a reputa on as a manageable, competent motorcycle, especially for entry- level riders. That's not to say more experienced riders didn't enjoy it, as well. Indian kept revising the Scout to stay compe ve against compe tors like Harley-Davidson and Excelsior. The bikes got op onal electric lights for their second year of produc on (nice to have), followed by chassis updates and more displacement. The model ran for a few decades, Indian spu ered out, and the brand was passed around like a bad cold for the rest of the 20th century. The Scout struck a memorable balance between power, physical size, and handling. That's why the Scout, along with the Chief, was one of the first models to be resurrected a er Polaris acquired the brand in 2011. CO-CREATOR KURT SUTTER FIRED FROM FX FOLLOWING COMPLAINTS The showrunner's 18-year rela onship with FX has come to an end. B y S C O T T B A U M G A R T N E R Kurt Su er, the creator of Sons of Anarchy and co-creator of Mayans M.C. has been fired by FX, according to mul ple reports. In a le er sent to staff of Mayans and obtained by The Hollywood Reporter, Su er explained that he was dismissed following an inves ga on into complaints levied against him from employees. The other side of the story is Mr. Su er's that said: "As you know, I've removed myself quite a bit this season, allowing others to take a bigger role in producing the show," he wrote of his presence on season two on the series. "It appears that philosophy has backfired. It's been reported by writers, producers, cast and crew that my absence and subsequent behavior when there, has only created confusion, chaos, hos lity and is perceived as abandonment. Or at least that's how Disney has interpreted it. I'm sure it's true." Last year, during an interview with THR, Su er discussed a framed le er on his wall that he received for "unprofessional behavior" on the set of Sons of Anarchy. AREA HARLEY-DAVIDSON DEALER BEGINS REVVING UP ELECTRIC MOBILITY EFFORTS B y M I C H A E L A P F L U G E-mobility enthusiasts have three more op ons to charge their vehicles in the Kansas City area. Gail's Harley-Davidson added charging sta ons at its dealership in Grandview, which are open to the public. Owner Gail Worth wants to support users of electric vehicles and thus help reduce emissions from fossil fuels. But there is another reason for adding the charging sta ons right now: to support the launch of Harley-Davidson Inc.'s new, all-electric LiveWire motorcycle. Produc on on the iconic motorcycle manufacturer's first all-electric cycle has been halted temporarily, according to the Milwaukee Business Journal, but that won't stop Gail's passion for her product. "It is the coolest bike ever. It has so much torque, picks up speed immediately and it is super smart in its handling," she told the Kansas City Business Journal. IN-N-OUT OWNER EXPLAINS WHY FAST-FOOD CHAIN PRINTS BIBLE VERSES ON FOOD PACKAGING B y B R E T T M O L I N A In-N-Out Burger owner Lynsi Snyder gave a rare interview where she talked about her Chris an faith and explained why the company prints Bible verses on some of its packaging. During an interview with The Chris an Post, Snyder said the death of her father at a young age and three failed marriages pushed her toward embracing Chris anity. "I have learned so much through my broken rela onships along with the ups and downs that come through marriage," said Snyder. One way the fast-food chain has expressed its faith is through its packaging. Consumers may have no ced "John 3:16" printed on soda cups. "It was my Uncle Rich who put the Bible verses on the cups and wrappers in the early '90s, just before he passed away," Snyder tells The Chris an Post. "He had just accepted the Lord and wanted to put that li le touch of his faith on our brand."
